最後までベストを／do my best until the end

皆さん、こんにちは。

良いトレーニングが出来ています。毎日午前中に練習をしています。野球の練習が終わった後、帰宅し、強化トレーニングをしています。1週間に4回、水泳をし、泳ぐ前には筋力トレーニングをしています。シーズン終盤であることはわかっていますが、来シーズンに向けた準備にもなると思っています。今シーズンはまだ終わっていないので、最後までベストを尽くします。

Hi everyone,

I have been in a good routine. I have practice everyday in the morning. When I finish baseball practice I go home and do my strength training. I have been swimming 4 times a week and lifting weights before I swim. I know it is late in the season but I know this will help me prepare for next season. I know this year is not over yet, so I will do my best until the end.

きつい連戦が終わりました／just finished a tough series

皆さん、こんにちは。

阪神とのきつい連戦が終わりました。いつもながら、シーズン最後の月はエキサイティングです。2試合目に登板し、ベストを尽くしました。あと19試合残っています。一日一日、出来る限り準備をするだけです。いろいろな意味でフラストレーションがあるシーズンでしたが、前にも言ったとおり、あきらめません。

また、誕生日の手紙やプレゼントをいただき、ありがとうございました。お返事が遅くなってしまいましたが、手紙を読んで、沢山の皆さんがおっしゃっていることに共感しました。野球場でお会いしましょう。

Hi everyone,

We just finished a tough series with the tigers. As usual it is exciting in the last month of the season. I came into the second game and did the best I could. We have 19 more games left. I'm just taking it day by day and preparing the best possible way.
It has been a frustrating season in many ways but like I said earlier I don't give up.

Also thank you to everyone for the fan mail and birthday presents. I know it is a slow reply but I read my letters and agree with many of you. See you at the ballpark

自分自身にとても腹がたちました/　I was very angry at myself


皆さんこんにちは今シーズン初めて負け投手になりました。同点で迎えた１１回に登板をし、失点し負けました。満塁にしてしまい、押し出しの四球で1点を失ったのです。自分自身にとても腹が立ちました。結果よりもしっかりと準備ができていなかったことにです。というのも、今日は登板の予定はないと思っていたので、十分に集中できていなかったからです。こういう状況は誰にでもある事ですが、これをきっかけに目を覚まさなければなりません。

ここまで、今シーズンはずっと良いピッチングを続けてきました。自分が今置かれている状況の中で集中力を保つ事は大変です。しかし、まだシーズンは数ヶ月残っており、良い形でシーズンを終わりたいと思っています。毎日一生懸命、集中力を保ってがんばっていきます。球場でお会いしましょう。マイケル

Hi everyone,

I just lost my first game this year. I came into the game in the 11th inning tied score. I gave up a run and we lost. I had loaded bases and walked the run in. I was very angry at myself. Not so much at the result but my preparation. I did not expect to come into the game and was not as focused as I should be. This happens to everyone and it makes you wake up.
All in all I have been pitching well all season. It is very hard to stay motivated being in the situation I'm in. We have a couple of months left and I want to finish strong.
I'm just taking each day as it comes and doing my best to stay motivated.
